Project Overview:
Revive Construction was engaged to facilitate the relocation and integration of a premanufactured portable classroom at New Humble School near Leduc, Alberta. With increasing student enrollment, the school required additional space to accommodate the higher volume of students. Revive Construction performed the necessary site preparations, structural modifications, and utility connections to ensure a seamless integration of the new modular unit with existing school facility.
Working closely with the school board, county officials, and project architects, Revive Construction coordinated all aspects of the installation, including foundations work, electrical and mechanical tie-ins, accessibility upgrades, and exterior finishing to match existing school design. The scope also included site grading, walkaway extensions, and adjustments to drainage systems to maintain safety and functionality.
With a firm deadline to complete the project before the new school season, Revive Construction efficiently managed scheduling, permitting, and on-site execution to deliver the project on time. The result was a fully integrated and operational classroom space that met the school’s immediate needs while adhering to local building codes and educational facility standards. Through strategic planning and collaboration, Revive Construction helped New Humble Community School expand its capacity to support its growing student population.
